Bruuins traded a 4th rd pick for Joe Corvo.

Good move. Much better in his own end than Kaberle. Will shoot the puck. And only a 2.25 cap hit for 1 yr.

    Pretty substantial upgrade from Kaberle.

Kabs signs a 3 yr 12.75 mil deal with Canes.

    Hi Jeff,

I see them as very similar production-wise. Corvo is better defensively but Kaberle is better offensively, so I'm not sure who you'd rather have.

At a difference of $2 million a year though, it sure makes sense for the Bruins. I'm really not sure why the Canes would do this deal other than having to get to the cap floor.

Kaberle didn't fit with the Bruins, so...it's irrelevant. Good addition in Corvo.

Carolina has a skilled defense this upcoming season as well.
